£850 For one week and £1650 for two weeks.
Actual tuition time (minimum): 20 hours per week.
This course is much less of a holiday and aims at rapid language development. It is ideal for students taking an exam in the near future or who would like to work on a particular area (such as giving presentations tp prepare a particular or assignment).
It provides seven hours of one to one tuition daily with a free day on Saturday and a half day (3 hours) on Wednesday (this is the day the Botanical Gardens are free to the public if this interests you).
Some of the tuition, particularily fluency practise, may take the form of study visits. The ratio of formal: Informal study would be flexible to ensure a balance.
Course content is negotiated daily and based on your English and any particular projects you need English for , such as exams, presentations, students assignments or professional areas such as tourism, gardening, English rteaching, IT or Medicine.
Worksheets/ tasks designed to integrate language practise with the trip will be given for completion either during or after the afternoon study visit to maximise progress. Students will be expected to complete homework tasks independently. These will be assessed and feedback given in lesson time.
